The Calibration of Seawater Thermometers

The operational principle is showed in the Flowchart of Temperature Calibration bellow.

The Device mainly consists of standard platinum resistance thermometer (SPRT), F900 AC Precision Thermometry Bridge, 6622A DC Precision Thermometry Bridge, Fluke 1594A super-thermometer, thermostatic seawater bath(s), water triple point reproducing apparatus and gallium melting point maintaining apparatus, etc.

It can be used to calibrate surface thermometers, the temperature part of CTDs and both protected and non-protected reversing thermometers.

The Calibration of Seawater Salinometers

The operational principle is showed in the Flowchart of Conductivity and Salinity Calibration bellow.

The Device mainly consists of China Primary Standard Seawater, 8400B Lab Salinometers, electronic balances, thermostatic seawater baths and some peripherals. The value of salinity is traced to the PSS-78.

This Device can be used to calibrate laboratory salinometers and the conductivity part of CTDs.

The Calibration of Marine Bathometers

The calibration of marine bathometers is realized with the Calibration Device of Seawater Manometers. The operational principle of the Device is showed in the Flowchart of Seawater Pressure Calibration bellow.

The Device consists of 0.005-Class Piston Manometer, DHI Full-automatic Piston Manometer etc, and is mainly used to calibrate water manometers or pressure transducers to meet the need of quantity value trace of seawater pressure.

This Device can be used to calibrate the pressure part of CTDs and pressure-based water level loggers.
